50+ Aerobics & Body Conditioning
This is a weekly community session and regardless of whether you are new to fitness, returning after a break or just fancy trying something new, you will be welcomed. Ages in this class range from late 40’s to early 80’s so I am well versed in offering a variety of options to suit your level.
Here are some benefits of exercise as you get a little bit older:
- Regular exercise can help to prevent diseases such as heart disease and diabetes
- Improved mental health and wellbeing
- Decreased risk of falls as you will have a stronger body
- Improved cognitive function

We start the session with a cardio workout. In plain speak, something aerobic based to get the body warm and the heart pumping a little bit faster! There will always be an option to march if for example you don’t fancy a jog, half jacks instead of full jacks, impact or no impact, the choice is yours. No pressure, you do what you are comfortable doing.
We then move on to some kind of strength work and this might be with equipment such as a step or weights or we might just use our own bodies to work that little bit harder.
